Oak Island Fishing Charters King Mackerel

Oak Island Fishing Charters fished Tues, Wed and Thursday catching King Mackerel. Our best day was 950lbs before 3pm and our biggest fish of the week was a 46″ King Mackerel that weight 40lbs (fattest king ive seen). Looks like the weather might to bad the next 5-7 days to go offshore so Im looking for a backwater trip. Who wants to go? Oak Island Fishing Charters went on a King Mackerel commercial fising trip. When 2pm rolled around we already had over 600lbs so we caught a few more and called it an early day. Looks like me might get out toward the end of the week if you want to go give me a call

Oak Island Fishing Charters was on a hot Wahoo bite today landing 8 out of 15. The Biggest wahoo was in the mid 50’s. Check out the video.

Oak Island Fishing Charters was in the Backwaters for 2 1/2 day fishing trips and both of them produced lots big Red Drum and Trout. Oak Island Fishing Charters Spanish Mackerel Attack

Oak Island Fishing Charters left the dock around 9 this morning for a 1/2 day Spanish Mackerel fishing. We found very clear 64 degree water that produced 30 plus Spanish Mackerel and over a dozen big bluefish. All the Spanish were between 16-19 inches. Hope this is how the nearshore fishing will be for months to come. Backwater fishing the next couple days.

Oak Island Fishing Charters had a great backwater Red Drum fishing trip this morning. Even though it started out slow everybody caught some really nice Reds. Pictures coming soon.

Oak Island Fishing Charters found a school of Red Drum Today that provided short but steady action then it was slow for a while till we found some good sized Black Drum. Hope the fish bite tomorrow with this front coming.

Oak Island Fishing Charters was catching 15-25lb king mackerel today when we got a bonus Wahoo. The Wahoo topped the scales over 70lbs and was caught on 20lb test. Camera had a little moisture but it will work.
