Catching Red Drum in the Backwaters of Oak Island is Awesome right now. Come on and get in on the action.
Once again today Oak Island Fishing Charters put a beat down on the Red Drum, Black Drum, speckled Trout and Flounder. Don’t really know how the backwater fishing could have went any better than it did today. Everywhere we went we caught fish. Here is a short video you can watch catching a big red drum in the backwaters. http://youtu.be/Zktx84wmFX4
Oak Island Fishing Charters got onto a epic Red Drum bite today after a slow morning it was one after another till we got tired of catching them.. I took pictures with my phone and cant seem to be smart enough to get them onto the computer. I will keep trying here is the first one cant get the second trip
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went looking for anything that would bite our hook in the backwaters today and even though it was slow we did manage to catch some fish. A couple Black Drum, Red Drum and Speckled Trout and great people to share the morning with.
Oak Island Fishing Charters has been busy the last few days except the day it was storming. Some nice flounder found their way home on Tuesday and today Mahi was on the menu. Back to flounder fishing in the am.
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters got lucky considering how the wind stirred up the water yesterday. After a slow start we finally caught enough bait to go sharks fishing and will have to say the kids did great. Even though the sharks were not big we did manage to land 6 and take pictures. Waiting on the pictures.
We earned every fish we caught today cause they just did not want to bite and the wind did not make things any easier. The ocean was not rough but it was very windy. We did manage to land 2 sharks and missed a couple on the bluefish we caught for bait. Hope we can get out tomorrow.
Its like a broken record while we are grouper fishing lately cause its just Grouper, Grouper and Grouper. Gotta like having that problem. We also brought home some nice Mahi today. Looks like the weekend weather will be going down hill fast but will have to wait and see.
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went out on a Grouper Mission and the first stop lasted about 8 min. During the 8 min it was Scamp after Scamp till the boats full limit was complete with about 100lbs Broomtail Scamp Groupers. Left the camera in the boat but will get it tomorrow.
Oak Island Fishing Charters is waiting the pictures from the Shark catching we got into. Will have to say it was as good as it can get since we barley had time to get the rod in the rod holder.
