The backwater fishing was on fire today for two groups that fished with Oak Island Fishing Charters. The afternoon was really hot catching over 20 Red Drum and a pair of 4lb flounder. Shark Fishing tomorrow

Oak Island Fishing Charters went straight to knocking on the door of the the Big Groupers this morning. By 11am we had the boats full limit of Groupers, Bass and pink snapper. Here are a few pictures cause we did not have much time to take more. You should get the idea of how the day went.

Today on both of Oak Island Fishing Charters backwater trips we wore out the Red Drum by catching well over 10 on each trip. Also the morning trip had 5 nice solid 18″ flounder. Heading to the bluewater in the morning and will try to remember the camera.

The last couple days Oak Island Fishing Charters has been Shark Fishing and I am glad to see them. We have caught and released well over 50 fish in the last 2 days and the variety has been great. We have landed Hammerheads, Blacktips and Lemons. Looks like a great week to catch fish as the forecast is calling for calm seas all week.

Oak Island Fishing Charters was in the Backwater today with 2 1/2 day trips and let me tell you we showed no mercy. The Red Drum and Black Drum was on the loosing end today, pictures will come when the charters email them to me. Looks like I’m in the ocean for a few days.

Today Oak Island Fishing Charters put a beating on the big flounder and some Red Drum and Blackdrum. What we did not have in quantity we had in quality in the backwater.

Sorry for the delay in the reports but we have been chasing the Spanish Mackerel up and down the beach. They are thick one day and about gone the next but thats why the call it fishing. We have atleast been catching enough for everyone to eat dinner.

Oak Island Fishing Charters found and caught a boat load of big Scamps today all over and honest 15lbs up to 20 lbs. Gotta love grouper fishing when its done right!

Today Oak Island Fishing Charters wore the fish out on both Backwater fishing trips today. The first trip was a lot of blackdrum, Red drum and a few throw back Flounder. The afternoon trip was a Red Drum everytime we threw the bait in the water then we went looking for flounder.
