Today Oak Island Fishing Charters hit the Big Red Drum behind Bald Head Island today.  For one hour is was one after another then that was it I think we caught one fish the last several hours but we caught way more than our share. Here one of the pictures as they were all about the same size

Oak Island Fishing Charters went commercial fishing again and the fish got the memo.  We make our living on the water with or without a charter so look at it this way if we can catch enough “good” fish to pay our bills then we should have no problem showing you what the ocean really has to offer.  We dont mind putting in the extra time to look for your next trophy.  Here is a video of one of the 25 lbs king mackerels

Oak Island Fishing Charters caught 40 King Mackerel on a commercial trip today with a total weight of 700lbs again.  This is what keeps us on our game so come join us for some fun while the fish are biting.

Once again Oak Island Fishing Charters put it to the King Mackerel today.  It has been a long time since Ive seen the water this hot, calm and clear.  700lbs was the number today and the fish are getting large.   Heading out again tomorrow commercial fishing so if you want to see what its like to catch fish with someone who makes his living off the water year round give us a call.

Oak Island Fishing Charters was welcomed with calm seas and lots of fish.  The water is warming up nice and the King Mackerel are on the attack so come on down and lets go fishing.  Its more like May now as the water is warming up quick.  Hopefully today will produce the same kind of results.

Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went backwater fishing and caught some little Red Drum.  The water is warming up so it want be long before the inshore fishing will be steady.

Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went to the Gulfstream today and was rewarded with Big Blackfin Tunas, Mahi, Skipjack Tunas and Bonitas.  Looks like we will make it out one more day this week.

Somebody needs to turn off the fan down here.  Oak Island Fishing Charters has been land locked due to the wind blowing way to hard to go fishing.  Hope thursday or friday but its not looking good.  Wahoo and Blackfin tuna are waiting so get ready.
