Oak Island Fishing Charters went to the stream off Southport today hoping the wahoo were biting like they are up the road and we have yet to see one. We did boat a nice Blackfin Tuna and King Mackerel. Seeing that the stream was slow for us we went Amberjack Fishing and they showed us no mercy again today, at times nobody would even want to reel it in. With sore arms they wanted to catch some little fish so we caught Blackbass, Trigger fish and Gray Snapper.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Spanish, Flounder and Sharks
Oak Island Fishing Charters went this morning and caught Spanish Mackerel and a nice Blacktip Sharks. On the afternoon trip we went to the nearshore reefs and caught some nice flounder. Tomorrow we are trying to pull a rabbit out of the hat (hero or zero) stay tuned.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Amberjack City
Oak Island Fishing Charters went a put a hurting on the Big Amberjacks today or I should say the Amberjacks were the ones causing the pain. I guess the grouper was sleeping all day today because this was the first time in a loooong time we could not get them going but we caught plenty of over sized fish to make up for it. This is a sample of what the BIG Amberjacks today looked like.

Oak Island Fishing Charter went Spanish Fishing around Bald Head Island NC this morning and very quickly we were done. We went around looking for Tarpon rolling along the surf but we did not see any so we set out a shark like and caught a nice Blacktip. Finally have a picture to post we are still waiting on a ton to come in.

Oak Island Fishing Charters found a nice school of Spanish this morning and in no time was asked “what are we going to do with all these”. You know this is a good problem so we started letting the go. Sure hope they are there in the morning again.

Yesterday Oak Island Fishing Charters went out and caught Spanish Mackerel as fast as we could get the lines in the water. After we were done catching Spanish we caught Several Nice Sharks including a Hammerhead. On the second trip we gave a mess of flounder a ride back home as well.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Triple Header
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters had 3 half day Spanish Mackerel and Shark Trips. Every Trip today completed the slam btw there are some big blacktips moving in and they are putting on a show. The last trip found a school Spanish that was huge sure hope they are there in the morning.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Nearshore Charters
Oak Island Fishing Charters had a pair of Nearshore Spanish Mackerel, Shark trips. The first trip found a few Spanish biting but did not get to do any shark fishing. The second trip done the shark fishing and caught several nice Blacktip sharks. Hope the rest of the week produces fish.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Shark Shark Shark
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters ran 2 half day trips. The first one showed us a shark feeding frenzy right beside and all around the boat. Once we found the right bait it was on. The second trip was not so lucky the shrimp boat did not pull its net in the whole time we were there but we did pick at the Spanish Mackerel while we waited and caught a big Blacknose Shark before it was time to come home. The best part about today was we caught fish on each trip and the ocean was nice and calm where we were at. Hope tomorrow is the same.
