Yes, the big sharks are here and in good numbers. With the water temps warming up they seem to be getting more active and ready to eat. We do not recommend gaffing or killing these sharks in this area because they show up every year and the ones we have killed in the past had baby sharks inside. I know on a 1/2 day trip you want to eat some fish and thats why we will catch the spanish mackerel but if you know that you like to eat shark and it is of legal size to keep then thats your call.
