With the wind blowing at Oak Island AGAIN we used the speed of the center console boats and went to calm water. Once we got there you could tell the fishing was going to be good with all the bait and birds around . Finally the Spanish were jumping all around the boat and every rod in the water had fish coming in every time we circled them. Flounder fishing tomorrow.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Spanish Mackerel
Finally we are putting Spanish Mackerel in the boat on our 1/2 day trips. Today was steady all day long on both 1/2 day trips and the best part is we are fishing in calm water. Stay tuned to see if we can keep this action up all week.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Backwater Drum Fishing
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters wore the fish out on both Backwater fishing trips today. The first trip was a lot of blackdrum, Red drum and a few throw back Flounder. The afternoon trip was a Red Drum everytime we threw the bait in the water then we went looking for flounder.

Once again today Oak Island Fishing Charters put a beat down on the Red Drum, Black Drum, speckled Trout and Flounder. Don’t really know how the backwater fishing could have went any better than it did today. Everywhere we went we caught fish. Oak Island Fishing Charters was on a hot Wahoo bite today landing 8 out of 15. The Biggest wahoo was in the mid 50’s. Check out the video.

Somebody needs to turn off the fan down here. Oak Island Fishing Charters has been land locked due to the wind blowing way to hard to go fishing. Hope thursday or friday but its not looking good. Wahoo and Blackfin tuna are waiting so get ready.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Nearshore Trips
Oak Island Fishing Charters had 2 half day adventures today. The first we steady picked at Spanish Mackerel then caught a nice Blacktip Shark. On the second trip we went straight Shark fishing and caught 4 Blacktips but we had 5 other good runs including one that broke our line. Hope to repeat tomorrow.
