Oak Island Fishing Charters Weekend Update
This weekend Oak Island Fishing Charters took the Cat Boat out for a test run to make sure everything is in good working order (everything is great) . The king mackerel are finally in full swing and the wahoo bite offshore is picking up. The trout also gave us some action on Sunday. Looks like another week of wind.
Oak Island Fishing Charters King Mackerel Fishing
The King Mackerel were biting all day for Oak Island Fishing Charters. We even had a nice Mahi and got to see a big Sailfish attack our short bait. Fall king fishing is a little late but its good when the weather lets us get out.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Big King Mackerels
Oak Island Fishing Charters got into a great bite of Big King Mackerel today (to bad there was no tournaments around). The avg fish was over 20lbs so it looks like the little one have moved out. We will be trout and drum fishing the rest of the week.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Grouper Cobia
Oak Island Fishing Charters went looking for King Mackerel close to the beach first thing but they were not around or did not want to bite. We moved off a few miles and were catching Big black bass and Gag grouper as fast as the bait could hit the water. Cobia and sharks were also part of the rod bending. Looks like Sat. might be the next day to sneak out.

Oak Island Fishing Charters was joined with OIFC.com crew today in search of a relaxing day catching Wahoo and Grouper. To keep it short we caught 5 Wahoo, Sailfish, 35lb King Mackerel and 5 Grouper (wish everyday was this easy). Pictures and Videos to come.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Bottom Fishing
Oak Island Fishing Charters caught the boats limit on everything but Grouper. We did catch a few Grouper but not like we are supposed to do. Anyway point is the fishing does not get any easier than it is right now but I sure do wish the Grouper would fire up.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Mixed Bag
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went out bottom fishing and will have to say it does not get any easier. Black Bass, Vermilion Snapper, Trigger fish, Scamp Grouper and Grunts. Best thing is its all you want.
Oak Island Fishing Charters wheres the African Pompano
Today Oak Island Fishing Charters went from wreck to wreck looking for some African Pompano. They usually show up after a bad storm this time of year but we found nothing. When 12 o’clock rolled around we had not caught the first fish but it all changed in a hurry. We were catching big 4lb Vermilion Snappers and Gag grouper every drop and this made it a great day on the water with a cooler of fish.
