Even with all this heavy wind and cold air we have been running several Trout trips each week with great results. If you bring enough clothes to keep warm we can still have fun fishing the backwaters of Oak Island. The trout have been anywhere between 12″-22″ with the best bite being during the falling tide. If you are tired of sitting in the house come join us for some trout action.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Trout are biting
This morning Oak Island Fishing Charters was out on a 1/2 day Trout search. Well it did not take long and we was catching them 2 at a time. When they send me the pictures I will post but for now I sure hope we can get offshore one more time while the kings are thick.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Week update
Sorry for the delay been kinda waiting on pictures to come in. For the past week or so we have been catching Spanish Mackerel up and down Oak Island. Also the Shark fishing has been some of the best we have seen all year. Tomorrow is Offshore Grouper fishing and it should be great with the game plan we have put together. standby
Oak Island Fishing Charters Flounder and Drum
Finally good weather coming
Another weekend of wind and rain but one good thing about it the boat is ready to go now and we have several Grouper trips coming up so they better watch out. I might be slack this week on fishing reports since I want be getting home till late so be ready.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Update
Sorry for the delay but we have been busy doing all kinds of good stuff. First the live bait action for Amberjacks, Grouper and Barracudas is as fast as we could get the baits in the water. Second the Spanish are all over the Frying Pan Shoals and they are hungry. We have also been catching good numbers of Flounder right before we go chasing them big Tarpon that as of right now have our number (0-4). Looks like Monday night we might finally get a chance at a photo but these fish are hard to keep on the hook. As you can see from Backwater to Bluewater we can do it all and full on energy.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Nearshore Fishing Report
The winds have still been blow but let up a lot today so we went back to Carolina Beach to see if the Spanish were around. The answer is yes when you find the pogie balls you will catch fish and most of them are nice sized. With the speed of our Center Consoles this ride is quick and you get to fish in calm water where your chances of catching fish are good. Looks like I will be chasing flounder the next couple days and they might already be cooked since the water is so hot.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Flounder and Drum
Once again in these windy conditions we had a good catch of nice Flounders and several Red Drum that were in the slot size to bring to the house. Just cause its windy dont mean we cant go have a good time. Keep your groups small and join us on great time in the backwater.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Flounder, Spanish Mackerel and Sharks
Finally the whole package is back again with Oak Island Fishing Charters. The flounder bite continues to be strong. The Spanish Mackerel we were catching during the blow last week at Carolina Beach looks to be off Oak Island again so thats a good thing also the sharks are hungry. Looks like a busy weekend catching nearshore fish.
Oak Island Fishing Charters flounder beat down
The flounder have been biting very well the last several days for Oak Island Fishing Charters backwater fishing trips. Also got word on the Big Spanish Mackerel today from a good friend his words were “they are chewing the bottom of the boat out”. It sure has been nice catching these flounder while all this wind want let us get in the ocean. Hope they are around in the morning.
